Wyrdwood Terms of Service

Welcome to Wyrdwood. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in Wyrdwood Immersive World, including its website, membership program, on-site activities, events, digital services, and community spaces.
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or participating in any Wyrdwood activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Parties to This Agreement
This agreement is between you (“Member”, “Participant”, or “User”) and Wyrdwood Society (NFP) and/or Wyrdwood Adventures Inc., including its operating entities, directors, staff, volunteers, and designated representatives (“Wyrdwood Immersive World”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Scope of Services
Wyrdwood Immersive World operates a membership-based immersive world experience, which may include:
– Digital services and online content
– Membership programs and subscriptions
– Live events, immersive roleplay, workshops, and demonstrations
– Physical activities, including costumed interaction and simulated combat
– On-site facilities, amenities, and hosted experiences
Not all memberships include access to all services.
Specific benefits, restrictions, and access levels are described at the time of purchase and may change over time.
3. Membership Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep your account information up to date.
Wyrdwood Immersive World reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms or associated policies.
4. Fees, Billing, and Renewals
Membership fees, billing intervals, and renewal terms are disclosed at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated:
– Memberships renew automatically at the stated interval
– You may cancel renewal at any time through your account
– Cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund prior payments
Refunds, if offered, are governed by Wyrdwood Immersive World’s published refund and cancellation policies.
5. Conduct and Community Standards
All members and participants are expected to follow Wyrdwood Immersive World’s community standards, safety rules, and codes of conduct.
These are published on the Policies page and form part of this agreement by reference.
Wyrdwood Immersive World reserves the right to:
– Remove participants from activities or events
– Suspend or terminate memberships
– Restrict access without refund
…if conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or incompatible with the Wyrdwood Immersive World’s environment.
6. Assumption of Risk & Physical Participation
Some Wyrdwood activities involve physical movement, simulated combat, outdoor terrain, props, tools, or environmental conditions.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:
– Physical activity carries inherent risks
– Injury, discomfort, or loss may occur despite reasonable precautions
– You participate voluntarily and at your own risk
– You agree to follow all safety instructions, staff guidance, and participation rules at all times.
This Terms of Service does not replace or override any additional waivers or safety acknowledgements required for specific activities or events.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Wyrdwood Immersive World shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in activities, use of facilities, or access to services.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Wyrdwood Society for the applicable membership period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
All original content, branding, logos, designs, lore, text, and media associated with Wyrdwood Immersive World are the intellectual property of Wyrdwood Holding Inc. or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Wyrdwood Immersive World intellectual property without explicit written permission.
User-created content shared within Wyrdwood Immersive World spaces may be used for community or promotional purposes unless otherwise stated.
9. Privacy and Data Use
Your personal information is handled in accordance with Wyrdwood Immersive World’s Privacy Policy.
By using Wyrdwood services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein, including for membership management, communications, and operational purposes.
10. Suspension and Termination
Wyrdwood Immersive World may suspend or terminate access to services or memberships:
– For violation of these Terms or referenced policies
– For unsafe or disruptive behaviour
– To protect participants, staff, or the organisation
Termination decisions are at Wyrdwood Immersive World’s discretion and may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
11. Changes to These Terms
Wyrdwood Immersive World may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated via the website or member communications.
Continued use of services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wyrdwood Immersive World operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable local law.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with referenced policies and any applicable waivers, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wyrdwood Immersive World regarding participation and membership.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
