Wyrdwood is a community space where imagination, respect, and stewardship guide every experience.
The following policies are in place to protect participants, staff, guests, land, and the ongoing integrity of the world.
These policies apply to everyone who visits, participates, or engages with Wyrdwood, including members, volunteers, vendors, performers, and visitors.

Community & Conduct
Code of Conduct
Wyrdwood is a shared space. All participants are expected to act with respect, care, and consideration toward others.
We ask all participants to:
– Treat others with dignity and courtesy
– Respect personal boundaries and consent
– Follow staff instructions and safety guidance
– Engage in immersive play responsibly and without harm
– Contribute positively to the atmosphere of the world
Disruptive, dangerous, or abusive behavior may result in removal from activities, suspension, or revocation of membership.
Harassment & Safety Policy
Wyrdwood maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, intimidation, or abuse.
Harassment includes (but is not limited to):
– Unwanted physical contact
– Sexual harassment or advances
– Verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation
– Discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, or background
– Persistent behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome
Anyone experiencing or witnessing harassment should report it to Wyrdwood staff immediately. Reports are taken seriously and handled discreetly.
Inclusivity & Accessibility
Wyrdwood welcomes participants of diverse backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experience levels.
The world is designed to support multiple forms of participation, including non-combat, social, creative, and narrative roles.
While Wyrdwood operates in a natural outdoor environment with inherent physical limitations, we strive to make reasonable accommodations wherever possible. Participants with accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us in advance.
Logistics & Operations
Registration & Waivers
Participation in Wyrdwood activities may require registration, age verification, and completion of liability waivers.
Certain activities may have age restrictions or additional consent requirements, particularly for youth programs or physically demanding experiences.
All required documentation must be completed before participation.
Costuming & Props
Costuming and props are encouraged as part of the immersive experience, provided they meet safety standards.
All weapons must be approved and inspected by staff
Real weapons are prohibited unless explicitly authorized
Props must not pose a risk to people, wildlife, or infrastructure
Wyrdwood reserves the right to restrict or remove any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
Venue Rules
As a stewarded rural site, Wyrdwood maintains venue-specific rules to protect participants, land, and surrounding communities.
These may include policies related to:
– Fire safety and open flames
– Noise levels and quiet hours
– Camping and waste disposal
– Alcohol and substance use
– Environmental protection and wildlife respect
Venue rules may vary by event or season and will be clearly communicated.
Legal & Financial
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds and cancellations are subject to the terms of the specific membership, event, or booking.
In general:
– Membership fees are non-refundable once activated
– Event tickets may be refundable up to a specified date
Wyrdwood reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances

Insurance & Liability
Wyrdwood maintains appropriate insurance coverage for site operations and organized activities.
Participation involves inherent risks associated with outdoor environments and physical activity. By participating, individuals acknowledge and accept these risks.
Intellectual Property
Wyrdwood retains ownership of its original world setting, lore, branding, and official content.
Participants retain ownership of their personal characters and original creations.
By participating, individuals grant Wyrdwood permission to document activities (including photography or video) for promotional or archival purposes, unless otherwise requested.
Unauthorized commercial use of Wyrdwood intellectual property is prohibited.
